The Lodge on Little St. Simons Island awarded with Condé Nast Traveler Gold List 2007

The Lodge on Little St. Simons Island, one of the Golden Isles at Georgia's Coast, is again awarded with Condé Nast Traveler Gold List 2007 after 2006. The hotels are selected by the readers of the Condé Nast Traveler Magazine as the best places to stay in the world.

On the homepage concierge.com, Condé Nast Traveler describes the Lodge on Little St. Simons Island:

A 10,000-acre private island between Savannah and Jacksonville, it is "an idyllic and luxurious retreat." Meals are served family style in the Hunting Lodge, and cooks prepare picnics and host seasonal oyster roasts along the beach. Rooms in five cottages have leather sofas and sometimes wood-burning fireplaces. "Staff are right there with whatever you need."
