Concours d'Elegance at Amelia Island, FL

A must see for all car enthusiasts!

From March 7th – 9th 2008 Amelia Island, Florida is home to one of the world's most innovative vintage auto events - the Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance.

Featuring more than 250 rare classics from seldom-seen private collections, the 2008 event will honor Parnelli Jones, whose incredible racing career has placed him in more than 20 automotive halls of fame.

General Motors will also use the occasion to celebrate 100 years of automotive history, in what is certain to be a birthday party to remember. This year's featured marque is the iconic Thomas Flyer automobile, which won the historic New York-to-Paris "Great Race" 100 years ago.

Christmas Carol Ship Parade in Vancouver

Carol Ships 'Parade of Lights' Society began over 47 years ago with one boat decorated with Christmas lights in Coal Harbour off the Bayshore Inn (now the Westin Bayshore Resort & Marina). On peak evenings, this holiday tradition has grown to more than 80 decorated boats, with in excess of 150,000 lights, and carries over 45,000 people during the 23 night festival. Along with many community-based shoreside celebrations, more than 200,000 people enjoyed the parade in 2006.

Enjoy this fantastic holiday event in the beautiful Canadian city of Vancouver from December 01st - 23rd 2007 for the 47th time!
